We are proud to announce the next in a series of Headliners gracing our stage for this years’ upcoming Burlesque Festival.

Internationally acclaimed performer Chanelle De Mai is the absolute epitome of the French showgirl. Refined, sophisticated, and mysteriously witty, she effortlessly commands the stage, leaving crowds completely captivated. Chanelle is a highly technically trained, lifelong dancer who began her classical ballet training at just four years old before expanding into competitive Latin and Ballroom Dancesport. Upon relocating to Paris, she fully immersed herself in traditional cabaret and neo-burlesque, mastering historical social dances like the Charleston, Lindy Hop, and Argentine Tango to perfect her vintage repertoire.

What truly sets Chanelle apart is her extraordinary multidisciplinary craftsmanship. Beyond her technical mastery of dance, she is a professional costume maker who has designed for prestigious institutions like the Paris Opera. By conceptualizing, designing, and hand-crafting her own elaborate, heavily researched stage attire, she brings complete, unique universes to life. From 1920s flapper routines to classic 1930s feather fan dances and Art Nouveau serpentine performances, every garment is a storytelling masterpiece.

Moving seamlessly between bygone aesthetics and modern styles, Chanelle offers a luminous repertoire that bridges the retro and the contemporary. When she steps into the spotlight, she doesn’t just perform—she brings her incredible, high-end designs to life, taking the audience on an immersive fantasy journey they hadn’t even dared to dream of.
