Burlesque Body Language: The Exotic Styles
The Art of Burlesque gives us the opportunity to express our feelings, emotions and fantasies. We tell our stories through our performances. The fact that we often perform a striptease within the story, is actually the cherry on top of the pie!
But taking our clothes off, is not what empowers us. What does empower us is HOW we tell this story. In “Burlesque Body Language” we explore a wide range of body movements. We learn to emphasize on sensuality by using our body, rather than by performing a striptease.

SLAY CABARET
Not for the faint of heart! This class starts with a light warm up and across-the-floor combinations to review syncopated movement, fusing contemporary jazz, modern, and hip hop. Slay Cabaret’s hybrid dance style, showcases the intense dynamics of musicality, femininity, and fierce expression.
Bring on the sass, as you learn a high energy choreographed piece. Intermediate Level. Pending on comfort with choreography, please bring non-marking flat shoes, flexible heels, and knee pads for personal options.

Flowing Fabrics
Let’s have fun with panels, negligees, silk fans, etc. Learn how to make to the most use of them and spin and twirl with delight and Tiffany will have some of her vintage costume pieces to show you, how they were made and share some fun stories.
Come learn from a legend Tiffany Carter ( bring your own panels, etc if you have them, thank you!)

ELEVATE DANCE TECHNIQUE
Learn some burlesque moves from the one and only Cervena Fox, all the way from Las Vegas Nevada via London England!
Cervena’s unique dance styles will help elevate your dance techniques and help achieve your goal as a burlesque dancer.

Disrobe like a Showgirl
Let Eliza guide you in the art of elegant burlesque striptease!
Engage your audience, strut with confidence and glide across the space like a true showgirl. In this 1 hour workshop you will learn a choreographed classic burlesque routine incorporating robe removal.
No nudity required
Please arrive wearing comfortable leggings & t-shirt or sports bra, a pair of comfortable dance heels. You will also need a long dressing robe with a belt tie.
