April March
2011 was a total high! The festival invited three legends to perform. I mean history itself stepped on our stage incarnated in three amazing women.
No way you can beat that.
Tiffany Carter, BhoF (Miss Nude Universe 1975, Tiffany Carter began her Burlesque career at the infamous Pink Pussycat in Hollywood, California. An active, in-demand entertainer with Sparky Blaine’s American Showgirl agency, Tiffany toured the U.S., Canada, and Japan from the late 1960s through the 1980s.)
Satan’s Angel, the devil’s own mistress performed on stage setting her tassels on fire! She was the very 1st one to do so. Her act made her ultra famous, she performed for the biggest names like Clint Eastwood to name one…
Now retired, her tassels were on fire until last year (2017) and I will never forget this firecracker. Meeting her and having her bless the festival is a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life.
April March, The 1st lady of Burlesque. My sweet heart! April is just wonderful. So many stories! Since we never get enough of April, we also promote her book in the 2017 festival.
A Performer in her heart, she has one of the longest career in the industry of Burlesque. Now in her eighties, she is still traveling around to talk and perform on stage! I am honored to be on of her friend and she has a special place in my heart.
How can one not fall head over heels for this art form when you get the chance to meet so many interesting people?! Impossible. The festival is a living example that beauty has no boundaries, no age, no color, no limits! We all shine because we shine inside out. Not easy every day, we are no different from anyone else and that is just THAT! WE hope to inspire by example, to show the world, that there is beauty outside of the social media retouched images and Magazines. So people can feel good about themselves again.
